Amberly has great passions for living life to the fullest; she is an Alaskan Tlingit Warrior with a spicy Spanish flare. Born in San Jose, CA; raised in Alaska from age 5 by her grandparents, who encouraged her to follow her heart. Early on, Amberly discovered a passion for dance and performance.
After graduation, She moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to attend college and graduated with a B.A. in Health Science with an emphasis in Performing Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The ocean became a place of healing and discovery for her love of swimming and surfing. And, her curiosity for freedom of bodily expression brought her to study arts like Capoeira, Gracie Jiu Jitsu with Grand Master Relson Gracie and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Over the years, she looked to yoga as a gateway to obtaining a well balanced fitness routine and now it has become both herphysical and spiritual anchor. She has worked on movie sets and TV Shows like Blue Crush, LOST and Hawaii Five-0.
In 2008, Amberly began her skydiving career on the North Shore of Oahu and in 2011 became a skydiving camera woman at Skydive Hawaii and continued to pursue the art of body flight and canopy piloting. At the end of 2013, Amberly survived a skydiving accident leaving her with a broken hip, ankle and internal bleeding. During her healing, as she began to walk again tragedy struck and she lost her fiancé to a speed flying accident. All she could dream about was flying her body and canopy again.
In the summer of 2015, she moved from Hawaii to Chicago to pursue her dream of being apart of a vertical world record in skydiving. On July 31, 2015Amberly participated in her first Vertical WorldRecord where 164 people jumped out of 7 planes in a vertical formation. Since then, Amberly has married and continues to pursue her passion for body flight. She is currently a body flight Instructor at iFLY Phoenix where she continues to hone her body flight skills and participates in tunnel competitions. This October she will represent the USA in Open Artistic in Bahrain. She currently has over 4000 jumps and holds 5 world records in skydiving, vertical and upright. Nowadays, her thrill for flight has expanded to all sorts of flight like speed flying and airplanes.

I love capturing amazing moments in the sky and on the ground and would like to explore this passion more.
I love being creative whether it involves dancing, creating a piece of clothing, singing, writing, taking a photo. Creativity keeps my life full of passion in all areas of my life.
I love singing and learning to play my guitar. Music has been a big part of my life. My father was a singer in a band and my grandmother sang all her life. I’ve dabbled in learning the violin, piano and guitar and taken years of singing lessons.
